2. Accuracy & Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information entered in this profile, including medication names, dosages, frequencies, and conditions. Incorrect data may result in missed safety alerts, interactions, or warnings.
3. Consent for Another Person's Data
If this profile is for someone other than yourself, you confirm that:
You have that person's knowledge and explicit permission to collect, store, and manage their health and medication data on their behalf, OR
You are the legal guardian, parent, healthcare power of attorney, court-appointed conservator, or otherwise legally authorized representative responsible for that person's care

This Privacy Policy describes how MyMeds AI ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use our medication tracking and health analysis application at mymedsai.net.
2. What Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. MyMeds AI does not:
Require or create user accounts
Collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers
Track your location
Store any health data on our servers
Use analytics, cookies, or trackers of any kind
Sell, rent, or share any information with third parties
3. Where Your Data Lives
All medications, supplements, conditions, symptoms, vitals, lab results, profiles, and preferences are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your own device. We have no access to this data and cannot recover it if lost.
4. Multi-Profile System
The App supports up to 8 profiles per device. Each profile's data is isolated in local storage. No profile data is ever transmitted to our servers or shared between devices. Clearing your browser storage permanently deletes all profiles.
5. Third-Party Services — Shared Usage
MyMeds AI optionally connects to the following services when you use certain features:
openFDA (api.fda.gov)
Used for drug labels, interactions, and recall lookups. Privacy: No personal data is sent. Only drug names are queried. Policy:open.fda.gov/terms/
Anthropic Claude API (api.anthropic.com)
Requires your personal API key. Used for AI health analysis and drug cross-checks. Privacy: Your API key and query data are sent directly to Anthropic. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
DxGPT / Foundation29 (dxgpt-apim.azure-api.net)
Requires your personal API key. Used for differential diagnosis. Privacy: Your API key and health profile data are sent to Foundation29. Subject to their privacy policy.
Shared key note: Your API keys are shared across all profiles on this device. Health data from any profile may be sent to these services when you trigger AI features. Billing and usage limits apply to the combined activity of all profiles.
These connections are initiated only by you. API keys are stored in your browser's localStorage and are never transmitted to us.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
MyMeds AI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Profiles for children under 13 must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Since all data is stored locally on the parent/guardian's device and no data is transmitted to our servers, the App's data handling is consistent with COPPA requirements.
7. Caregiver Profiles
When a caregiver profile is created, the App requires acknowledgment that the caregiver has proper authorization to manage the individual's health data. The App does not collect, store, or verify authorization documents. This responsibility lies entirely with the caregiver.
8. Data Deletion
You may delete any profile and all associated data at any time through the App's settings. Clearing your browser's localStorage or cache will also permanently delete all App data. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
9. Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device, security depends on your device's security measures (screen lock, password, biometrics). We strongly recommend enabling device security features, especially when managing profiles for other individuals.
10. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Since we do not collect, store, or sell any personal information, the data access, deletion, and opt-out rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act are not applicable. We have no data to access, delete, or sell.
11. Texas Residents (TDPSA)
Since we do not collect, process, or sell any personal data, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act obligations regarding data processing, consumer rights, and data sales are not applicable.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date.

MyMeds AI is NOT a medical professional, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information provided is for informational purposes only. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before making any changes to medications or treatment plans.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
The accuracy of all information you enter
Proper consent/authorization for any profile not for yourself
Monitoring your own API usage and billing with third-party services
Maintaining the security of your device and browser data
Complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
5. Intended Use
The App is designed for personal and family use only. It is NOT intended for use by:
Medical facilities, clinics, hospitals, or pharmacies
Insurance companies or employers
Organizations of any kind
Anyone tracking an individual's health data without their knowledge or consent
Maximum 8 profiles per device to discourage institutional misuse.
6. No Warranty
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or reliability. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that safety alerts will catch every dangerous interaction.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, the creators, developers, and distributors of the App shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:
Use or inability to use the App
Health outcomes, medication errors, missed interactions, or missed warnings
Data loss, device theft, or unauthorized access to locally stored data
Third-party API behavior (openFDA, Anthropic, DxGPT)
Any decisions made based on information provided by the App
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developers and distributors of the App from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:
Your use or misuse of the App

Your violation of any third party's rights
Creation or management of any profile without proper authorization
9. Third-Party Services
The App optionally integrates with third-party APIs (openFDA, Anthropic, DxGPT). Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or data handling.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms or the App itself at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by clearing your browser storage or uninstalling the PWA. We may discontinue or restrict the App at any time without notice.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
