About MyMeds

A free, privacy-first medication tracker with optional AI insights — built by an independent developer who needed it to exist.

Why MyMeds exists

MyMeds started from a simple frustration: between doctor's appointments, there was no easy way to keep track of medications, supplements, symptoms, and how they all interact. The existing tools were either locked behind subscriptions, harvested personal health data for ads, or were so full of features they were impossible to actually use day-to-day.

Caregivers, patients managing chronic conditions, and anyone on more than two medications deserve a tool that's actually free, actually private, and actually useful — without the catch.

So I built one.

What it does

Track everything in one place
Medications, supplements, conditions, symptoms, vitals, and lab results — logged clearly and searchable.
Catch dangerous interactions
Automatic cross-checks against FDA and NLM databases. Black box warnings surfaced inline.
Spot patterns over time
Daily check-ins help identify trends your doctor might miss in a 7-minute appointment.
Optional AI superpowers
Bring your own Anthropic API key for deep analysis, symptom triage, and personalized health plans.

Privacy by architecture, not by promise

Most apps that claim to be "private" still send your data somewhere. MyMeds is different because there's nothing to send:

The one exception is if you choose to enable AI features. In that case, you provide your own Anthropic API key and the relevant data is sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's servers under their privacy policy — never through us. See the contact page for more details, or just don't enable AI features if that's not for you. The app works fully without them.

Who built this

Independent Project

MyMeds is built and maintained by an independent developer — one person, not a company or a venture-backed startup. No employees, no investors, no ads, no data sales, no paid tier.

Upkeep is supported by voluntary donations via GoFundMe. If MyMeds has helped you, a small donation keeps it free for the next person.

Important disclaimer

MyMeds is a personal health information tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting, stopping, or changing any medication. In a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
